Data we collect and hold:
We collect email addresses for the purpose of setting up the backup service.
Data of yours that we have access to:
We perform an online backup of the data within your O365 environment, which may include emails and files within OneDrive and SharePoint. This may contain personal data. We will have access to data when we perform a restore of your data, which is done only at your request.
All access to the online system is encrypted and is auditable.
Location of backup data held:
We use a 3rd party backup tool from Datto for the O365 backup service. This tool is web-based and is encrypted. All backup data is stored primarily within UK datacentres with replication within EU datacentres. Replication may occur to US datacentres.
Datto comply with the EU-US Privacy Shield.
The data held is used only for the purposes within the contract.
We do not pass any data to anyone who is not associated with the contract or service provided.
The Service Order provides full detail of the retention of data whilst the service is active.
On termination of the service, all data within the backup service is removed.
