If you’re still using Skype for Business Online, you need to be aware that Microsoft will retire this product on 31st July 2021.
Important to note:
- Neither the Skype consumer service nor Skype for Business Server products are affected by the retirement of the Skype for Business Online service. Current Skype for Business Online customers will experience no change in service up to the retirement date.
- Support for the integration of third-party party Audio Conferencing Providers (ACP) into Skype for Business Online will continue until the end of service 31st July 31, 2021.

Teams is a brilliant platform that allows you to do all the things you did with Skype, but there’s even more functionality, such as file sharing, live-editing, project management, presenting and it makes collaborative working even easier.
