The new meeting recap feature in Teams helps the meeting attendees and those who were unable to attend a meeting stay up to date by providing the meeting recording, transcript and chat all in one place. These are automatically shared in the Chat tab and viewable in the Details tab.
How will this affect you and your organisation?
For each scheduled meeting, you will see an updated view on the calendar Details tab that utilizes existing meeting data.
Its worth noting that there is no impact on admin settings of policy nor how data is shared or handled. This feature will not be enabled on channel meetings.
When will this happen?
Microsoft will start rolling out this feature by the end of January and it is set to be complete by mind February
