Introducing the ‘Search’ feature in Teams
July 28, 2020

There’s nothing more frustratingly time-consuming than to be searching for something you remember being discussed, but you can’t remember when or where!

Sometimes, it’s the little updates that make the biggest difference, and the new Search function in Teams does just that.

So, it’s as simple as that?
Yep, pretty much! Just go the chat or channel you wish to search, press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Cmd + F (Mac) and type what you’re looking for.

Once initiated, the search query and results will be limited to the focused chat or channel and the search results will appear in the left-hand column.
