On June 3rd Projectfive were just one of many local businesses in attendance at “Guildford Means Business”. It is one of the most prolific networking events in Surrey for local businesses and is Guildford’s biggest annual business exhibition.
Hosted at G-Live, the Projectfive team were just one of 100 local businesses setting up their stall for the day ahead and the many hundreds of business men and women that would be in attendance.
The day was off to an exciting start with the Mayor of Guildford: Councillor Nikki Nelson-Smith opening the exhibition with a talk about “Inspiring Guildford’s Future Innovators’”, she focussed on motivating the youth of Guildford and educating them further on their desired career paths so as to help open up more opportunities for them, and to foster their talent locally so as to encourage them to look for employment locally.
Throughout the day the Projectfive team attended seminars on Marketing, Sales, How to stand out and more. It was a great opportunity for us to meet other local businesses and tell them more about us and hear more about them too, getting to know potential new clients, socialising with existing clients and making new contacts in the area.
All round it was a successful and enjoyable day of networking, socialising and promoting the Projectfive brand, and a great opportunity see what Surrey had to offer.
Until next year!
